Climate Neutral Production and Touring

What is covered?

• Venue electricity use for the duration of the show/event/tour;
• Band, artist, crew and entourage transport including flights, buses, cars etc;
• Accommodation;
• Production freight and supply chain;
• Waste generation;
• Publicity, advertising and printing.

This option means that you are offsetting the carbon emissions involved with putting on the show, event or tour. The GPA and Climate Friendly will calculate the total emissions from these factors and provide you with a break-down of your ‘carbon footprint’.
We will then work in consultation with you to reduce your energy consumption and offsetting the remaining emissions through purchasing verified renewable energy carbon credits.

Your event will be awarded Climate Neutral™ status and provided relevant branding by Climate Friendly to indicate that you have taken measures to offset emissions that you are directly responsible for.
